When Don saw this winner of more than 15 national
awards in 2007, this mind blowing 1969 Pontiac Firebird had to be
his. It was sitting at One of Ohio's premium Custom Hot Rod Dealers
" Best of Show Automotive " which handles some very top
notch rides. It is an incredible machine for show & street. To
be a Goodguys Midwestern Nationals winner, you have to have the right
stuff! Summit Racing liked this car so much they are shooting it for
the cover of their catalogs.

Let's start with the body & paint. The two-tone
grey & silver paint scheme is incredible ... especially in direct
sunlight. The flawless body is free of any defects and finish is truly
national show quality. The molded in custom rear and front bumpers,
painted body color, give the car a unique look that just works. Present
are four halogen headlamps, and two fog lights.
The interior on this custom Firebird is one of the nicest custom interior's we've ever seen. The custom molded dash and custom molded console are works of art. Also a nice touch is the floating gauges, including Autometer Tachometer & Speedometer, and Autometer Water, Oil & Fuel gauges. The door panels are custom as well, with leather inserts. An incredible feature is the four custom leather bucket seats, which are comfortable as they are attractive. It has a leather/billet steering wheel and a Hurst chrome ratchet shifter. Both doors, as well as the trunk lid are opened electronically with Protocol keyless entry systems, and open/close perfectly. Power Windows all around open & shut with the touch of a button. The sound system in this custom show car is awesome, starting with a Pioneer AM/FM Tuner with CD/MP3/WMA player, feeding a trunk mounted Rockford Fosgate Punch amplifier. Sound comes via two door mounted Polk 6 1/2" coaxial speakers, and two trunk mounted Polk subwoofers. Another incredible custom feature is the custom molded package tray. I'll say it again: the interior in this Firebird is flat-out incredible! The Firebird was completely rewired using a Painless Wiring wire harnesse and new wire everywhere. |

The engine is potent: a Pontiac 400 Dynoed at 456
HP. Topped off with a Barry Grant Demon Carburetor; Competition Cam;
Lunati Lifters; and MSD Ignition, and; MSD Coil. The engine compartment
is a work of art, with billet hinges, a chrome alternator, billet
pulleys, and smooth, polished, detailed surfaces everywhere you look.
The exhaust consists of headers, with a 2 1/2" Magnaflow H-Pipe
stainless steel exhaust, with tuned Flowmaster mufflers. Also present
is a Pontiac TH400 transmission, with a B&M 2200 stall torque
converter. A 12 Bolt Positraction rear end with a 3.73 gear send power
to the wheels & tires. The stunning Billet Specialties 20x18 wheels
look perfect on this custom show car. Mated to the wheels are four
brand new Firehawk Wide Oval 20" tires. Braking is supplied by
a complete 4 wheel Wilwood disc system. The underside of this Firebird
is spectacularly detailed. The front end has been lowered 2",
with coil over front shocks. Present is a front sway bar and polyurethane
body mounts. The subframe has been tied and the rear has been lowered
2 1/2". Stainless steel brake lines were used, and new fuel lines,
as well as a painted gas tank were installed.
