1923 Ford T Bucket
Mike Folkman
The chassis is Custom built thanks to Jimmy over at Futuretech, he stretched it about 15 inches. Jimmy added a 4 inch drop front axle with a front cross-leaf spring, friction shocks, and a four link set up for suspension. The front brakes are Wilwood Disc while the rear axle is a Ford 9 inch set up with Coil-Overs and a four link suspension. The rear brakes are Lincoln factory discs. The drive train is a mild Chevy 307 cubic inch engine with a Holly 650 cfm 4 barrel pushing the power through a GM Turbo 350 Transmission which is hooked to the ford 9 inch with a gear ratio of 390:1 to turn over those big Mickey Thompson Tires.

The body is a Total Performance one piece fiberglass, painted with 1999 Ford red basecoat /clearcoat applied by Mike Folkman and Don Veneskey. The windshield is chopped to 13 inches and angled. The interior is custom light gray, done by Mike Folkman and Rick Stuck with Stewart Warner gauges, Hurst shifter, chrome fire extinguisher and a Grant steering wheel finish up the interior.

We squeezed in a surprisingly large 11 gallon fuel tank inside the pickup bed, thanks again to Jimmy from Futuretech. The custom made radiator was built by Kaufmans Radiator while the radiator shell is chopped from an old fiberglass Ford unit I found at a swap meet. The headlights are Chrome Signal Stat units and for the chrome firewall, my thanks go to my Daughter, Amanda. The taillights are teardrop Ford style with an added third brake light up on the pickup bed cover with another on the License plate frame for better visibility.
