1963 Corvette Split Window Fred Piluso This rare 1963 Corvette Sting Ray ( 1 of only 278 ) is all Factory Original. The Fawn Beige paint is correct as is the 340 Horsepower, 327 cubic inch engine. It came with an aluminum intake manifold with solid lifters. The stock shifter is sitting on the original 4 speed transmission. The factory correct P-48 Cast Aluminum 15" Knock Off wheels which have 205-75R15 tires on them were added by Fred as was the N-11 Off Road Exhaust System for that personal "Look". I'm sure that the 160 Mile Per Hour Speedometer has been pushed to the limit a few times as Fred is not afraid to live life to the fullest in every form. Fred had owned this exact year and model corvette before doing his time in Viet Nam in 1965 and when this one became available through his long time friend "Corvette Mike" www.CorvetteMike.com of Anaheim, California Fred knew this Bloomington Gold-Certified Split Window would soon be one of his prizes in his stable of Fantastic Show Winners! With a full body off frame restoration for starters the L-76 engine pushes some serious horsepower to the Muncie M-20 Four Speed Transmission and then on back to the 3:70 to 1 gear ratio wrapped around a G-81 Positraction rear end. In 1963 FM Radio was almost unheard of and this Delco push button unit can still put out some sweet sounds. No details were left unattended to as you can see by the perfect Spark Plug Wire Covers! An item usually tossed after the first tune up! The license plates are another personal touch from Fred, Scruples, his Honolulu Night Club gave way to his SCRPLE license plate.
