Felix Ratino's
1933 Chevy Master 2 Door Sedan

Larry L. Hurd of Tennessee was the original owner of this Car
and he sold it to George Clem of Kirtland, Ohio who passed it
on to Terry Lanning of Mayfield Village. Terry changed the rear
end from a 3:89 gear ratio to a 3:55 gear ration in anticipation
of going on the 1998 Hot Rod Power Tour to California with George
Collins. Soon after getting settled in out there a girl in the
Condominium complex where Terry was staying got mad at her boyfriend
and sped out of the parking lot, ALMOST!!!!!! She hit Terry's
33 first and then the 1951 Ford of Georges and then flipped over
landing on her roof!!! Luckily no one was hurt, only because they
couldn't get their hands on her!!!
Terry had the "33" shipped back to Mayfield Village
and while they were unloading the wreck at his house, Felix and
his boss just happened to be driving by and when Felix saw that
wounded "33" he fell in love all over again. In a flash
they pulled in the driveway and before the sun had settled he
had a real project to work on in his own driveway. Between Felix,
Ken's Auto Body and a host of Felix's friends it was soon a road
worthy Cruiser again!
This All Steel Cruiser is just loaded with extras;
It has a 1986 350 4 bolt Chevy engine that has a few goodies
in it like 202 angled plug heads with stainless valves honed in
with a 3 angle grind loaded with Z28 springs controlled by Manley
push rods and valves bumped by a Crane HMV-260-2-NC Cam which
is turned by a Pete Jackson gear drive. The breathing is through
a Carter 625 AFB 4 bbl carburetor and that fuel is compressed
by TRW Flat Top Pistons and pushed out the rear end through 87
Corvette mufflers and an Aluminized exhaust system.
The power is transferred through a short shaft 350 Transmission
to a Ford 9" rear end with 28 spline axles to 8" Aluminum
Corvette Wheels with Michelin Tires for traction! It has a Mustang
II front end with power disc brakes that is turned by a Cadillac
tilt & telescopic steering column. Needless to say this comfort
car has Power Windows and Locks not to mention a High end Pioneer
Super Tuner Radio to cover the Gray cloth tweed interior with
sound. All of this and more was topped off with a First Class
Silver & Maroon Custom paint job.
