Car was painted in 2001 in it\'s original color of Sherwood green due to faded paint, super solid no rust, no filler or bondo just needed its shine back. New white vinyl top in 2011. Motor was completely rebuilt using flat top forged pistons, mild cam, aluminum Edelbrock heads, MSD ignition, intake, carb, electronic fuel pump, headers. Estimated horse power of car is around 450 horse, runs real strong. I have receipts for all motor work done in 2011. The original turbo 350 was completely rebuilt with a 2500 stall converter in 2011. Have receipts for all work done. Replaced the 2.23 rear end with a 12 bolt 3.73 posi rear-end. Have receipt for this as well. Every suspension bushing has been replaced with new polyurethane bushings. The brake system has been upgraded with a front disc conversion kit, due to the rotors being so big I was forced to replace the stock color!
d keyed wheels with chrome 17 inch American racing torque thrust wheels with new Kumho exsta 255/50/17 racing tires. Exhaust was replaced using a full 2.5 inch Flowmaster system with a h-pipe. Interior was replaced all new, including new bucket seats, springs, foam tracks, dual gate shifter, console, headliner, door panels, package tray. new from headliner to carpet. Bought all interior parts from year one and have all receipts for work done. There has been a ton of $$$ put into this car and it needs nothing. Oldsmobile Model = Cutlass Supreme SX Year = 1971 Description of Car = 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SX (this is a true SX not a clone). The SX Cutlass is one of the more rare Oldsmobile’s built as it was only built for two years,1970/71, and is a basic 442 without the numbers, they were built to get around the high insurance costs of the 442s.The SX is also the only other Cutlass that you could get the 455ci/325hp engine in. The odometer currently reads about 68,000 miles, and judging by the condition of the car prior to restoration is most likely original mileage. This was a frame off restoration of a exceptionally clean southern survivor, and is the only time the car has had new paint, or body work since new. The car has Power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, factory am/fm radio (plus aftermarket am/fm/cassette under dash) A/C, dual exhaust with correct trumpets on the tailpipes and cut out bumper. This True SX is all numbers matching from carb to pan and transmission, I could not find the numbers on the differential. Frame off professional restoration in 1997/98. This car still has most of the factory original steel brake and fuel lines and fuel tank. At the time of the restoration the engine (455 ci/325hp) was professionally rebuilt to OEM specs and only has about 3000 miles on it. When the engine was torn down very little wear was found and would reflect a well maintained vehicle with low mileage. The quarter panels rockers and floor and trunk pans, doors, hood and deck lid are all original with out any patching and all the seams are correct, die straight and original. Original wheel covers and wheels. New interior, seat covers, door panels carpet and matching carpet floor mats in the correct color and grain, headliner is original and in excellent condition and Vinyl top. All the original chrome and stainless trim was on the car when I purchased it and was retained during the restoration. The purchase price includes 4 new tires mounted on the original wheels, the Cragar mags that are on the car in the pictures are just wheels that I use to store the car and are not in great shape with older tires of unknown age and quality. When I purchased the car I was pleased to find all the original owners manuals with the plastic sleeve and the protect-o-plate in the glove box. I was able to locate the original owner at the time, she is a retired school teacher who still lived in South Carolina at the time, and where the car is from originally. If you are not familiar with the Cosworths, it was a special Vega that was produced by Chevrolet with a engine designed by Cosworth racing that featured a 16 valve, twin cam, fuel injected, 2000cc engine designed for European road racing. It also included a beefy suspension, special mag wheels, and a stainless steel exhaust header designed to allow the engine to breath better. This Cosworth only has 44,000 original miles, has a 4 speed manual trans with a white interior (the white interior is unusual for the Cosworths).
