I-X Piston Power Show and Cleveland AUTO-RAMA Join Forces and Engines in 2013

(Cleveland, OH) The organizers of Cleveland AUTO-RAMA have agreed to sell the 46-yearold sanctioned custom car show to the I-X Center. This will enable the I-X Center to create a combined mega production melding AUTO-RAMA with the I-X Piston Power Show,

thereby featuring the best both shows have to offer. The I-X Piston Power Show was slated for October 5-7 this year and will now be cancelled to make way for the new event tentatively scheduled for March 15-17, 2013.

“This is a unique opportunity to bring together two great shows celebrating motor and vehicle enthusiasts,” said Brad Gentille, executive vice president & general manager of the I-X Center. “Cleveland AUTO-RAMA has been an integral part of our show line-up for many years with a devoted core audience. We believe that by incorporating the I-X Piston Power Show, which has grown significantly in just two years, attendees, sponsors and participants

will benefit from an entirely brand new experience with a dynamic expanded show floor. The event will feature the best components from both shows with a vast array of classic cars, vintage airplanes, boats and custom motorcycles.”

The acquisition of Cleveland AUTO-RAMA follows the agenda of the I-X Center to continuously invest in facility features and high-caliber consumer events. A new show name, logo, and website will be revealed pending the finalization of sanctioning agreements and

additional details. Past participants and annual attendees will be updated as show features develop.
